I heard that they already know about it and are simply going to make it more difficult to accomplish. They don't consider it an official exploit as far as I can tell.
Rangers are talking about it on the official forums and there's already tutorials out there to teach you how to do it.
it's not really an exploit, because it doesn't effect the cooldown on the spell, essentially it's only starting the attack loop a fraction of a second sooner.
I practiced this on my friend's ranger and no it really isn't an exploit, you still have to stand still for a moment as you land, there's no cast time usually on it anyhow, and really your gaining about 30% of a second to move around during a skill cast :P maybe more like half a second if you learn to do it well.
It does make rangers a lot more fun and I'm definitely going to be rolling one later on once I get situated with my chanter, get to 50, have some pvpve fun, get to crafting a bit for twinking money, etc. lol
Oh and I almost forgot, they already did *fix* it, you used to be able to do it with skills that have a cast time, and you used to be able to do about 3~6 skills in one jump and if done right insta-kills pretty much anything on sorc's lmao so yah they definitely know about it, they made it still possible but made it only able to do one skill at a time, and they made it so you still gotta stay still for a second or so.
